DECORAZIONE DI OGGETTI IN CERAMICA

Workshop base di decorazione di manufatti ceramici. I partecipanti decoreranno dei manufatti in ceramica realizzati a mano. Il corso prevede la preparazione del bozzetto e la decorazione su pezzo con engobbi. l manufatti saranno cotti in seconda cottura, solo dopo saranno consegnati* al partecipante.

Basic workshop on decorating ceramic artifacts. Participants will decorate handmade ceramic artifacts. The course includes preparation of sketch and decoration on piece with engobbi. The artifacts will be fired in second firing, only after that they will be delivered* to the participant.

REALIZZAZIONE DI UN PENDENTE CON BASSORILIEVO IN RAME

IL CORSO
– preparazione del disegno da realizzare: attraverso il disegno o la selezione e la stampa di
elementi decorativi si sceglierà il disegno da lavorare;
– lavorazione a cesello: la tecnica prevede l’incisione di tutti i contorni del disegno sul foglio di rame;
– realizzazione del bassorilievo: si procederà a rendere malleabile il pezzo e iniziare a sbalzare;
– finitura, pulitura e completamento del pezzo che il partecipante potrà portare a casa.

MAKING A COPPER BAS-RELIEF PENDANT

THE COURSE:

– Preparation of the design to be made: through the drawing or selection and printing of decorative elements, the design to be worked on will be chosen;

– chiseling work: the technique involves engraving all the contours of the design on the copper sheet;

– bas-relief making: the piece will be made malleable and begin embossing;

– finishing, cleaning and completing the piece, which the participant will be able to take home.

CORSO DI DISEGNO DAL VERO

IL CORSO:
– Osservazione: analisi del soggetto e degli spazi per capire quello si sta per riprodurre. Primo approccio attraverso le figure geometriche. 
– Studio dei Toni: Esercizi di tratto sfumature
– Composizione: Studio del punto di vista. Disegno di figure più complesse: cubo, piramide, sfera e cilindro.
– Natura Morta: disegno di soggetti attraverso tecniche di utilizzo di chiaro scuro.

LIFE DRAWING CLASS

THE COURSE:

  • Observation: analysis of the subject and spaces to understand what you are going to reproduce. First approach through geometric figures. 
  • Study of Tones: Exercises in stroke shading.
  • Composition: Study of point of view. Drawing more complex figures: cube, pyramid, sphere and cylinder.

Still Life: Drawing subjects through techniques of using chiaroscuro

STAMPA MONOPRINT BOTANICA

Monoprint o Monotipo in italiano è un esemplare unico di stampa ottenuto direttamente da una lastra, di metallo o plexiglass, con l’inchiostro tipografico. Non è una tecnica d’incisione, non ci sono matrici incise, ma una tecnica di stampa a contatto che prevede la realizzazione di un’immagine stampata con l’ausilio di un torchio calcografico in cui la matrice può essere di diversa forma, dimensione, materiale, a secondo il gusto personale. Durante il corso i partecipanti potranno sperimentare la tecnica monoprint attraverso l’impressione di elementi botanici.

MONOPRINT BOTANIC PRINTING Course

Monoprint or Monotype in Italian is a unique printing specimen obtained directly from a plate, metal or plexiglass, with letterpress ink. It is not an engraving technique, there are no engraved dies, but a contact printing technique that involves making a printed image with the help of an intaglio press in which the die can be of different shape, size, material, according to personal taste. During the course, participants will be able to experiment with the monoprint technique through the imprinting of botanical elements.

INTRECCIO DI POMODORI IN CERAMICA

Celebrato e raccontato è il Pomodoro Regina, varietà coltivata nei terreni salmastri litoranei del Parco delle Dune Costiere tra Ostuni-Torre Canne – Savelletri – Egnazia lungo la via Traiana. Simbolo del Sud, una cultura antica, una microeconomia capace di rispettare la Terra, raccogliere e conservare i suoi doni, non invasiva, fiera della sua identità, della sua trionfante biodiversità. Era ricchezza, era fuoco sui campi, era dote di sposa.
A formare le Ramasole sono i pomodorini intrecciati con filo di cotone, appese alla volta delle masserie per la conservazione.
Durante il workshop i partecipanti impareranno ad intrecciare le riproduzioni in terracotta smaltata dei pomodori al filo, concept nato nel 2012 dallo studio De Palma & Pinto.

Celebrated and recounted is the Regina Tomato, a variety grown in the coastal brackish soils of the Coastal Dunes Park between Ostuni-Torre Canne-Savelletri-Egnatia along the Via Traiana. Symbol of the South, an ancient culture, a micro-economy capable of respecting the Earth, harvesting and preserving its gifts, non-invasive, proud of its identity, its triumphant biodiversity. It was wealth, it was fire on the fields, it was bridal dowry.

Forming the Ramasole are cherry tomatoes woven with cotton thread, hung from the vault of the farms for storage.

During the workshop, participants will learn how to weave glazed terracotta reproductions of the tomatoes to the thread, a concept created in 2012 by the De Palma & Pinto studio.
